Our Teachers
Sara has been a preschool educator for over 15 years in the community of Lake Oswego. She fell in love with the minds of preschool aged children while attending Oregon State University. She earned her associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Linn Benton Community College. Sara has taught every age of preschool.
Sara was raised in Tigard and has lived in Lake Oswego for 15 years. Her heart is deeply invested in creating quality preschool education in her own community. Sara believes play is essential to the social and emotional growth and development of young preschool minds.
She will help your child explore friendships with their peers. She encourages imagination through acting out stories and building new play worlds like pizza parlors and cardboard rocket ships. Most of all, she works hard to help children feel comfortable and confident in the classroom.
Melisa is a lifelong Oregonian. She was born in Oregon City, raised in Canby and has lived the last 20 years in West Linn. After years of being an at-home mom and working with children in the dance studio world, she developed a passion for early childhood education. She has taught ages 3, 4, and 5 for the last seven years.

She attended Clackamas Community College and is Child Development Associate and Montessorti trained. She is passionate about continuing education in the field of Early Childhood Education and each year she takes courses, goes to conferences and listens to expert podcasts in the field.

Melisa is passionate about reading with children, play-based literacy and math, play-based geography studies, author studies, play-based science and all sorts of art projects! She also loves to cook and garden with her students. Melisa loves to turn all experiences into learning and growing opportunities.
Annie is an Oregonian, born in Portland and now living in Lake Oswego. She developed a love for teaching while working as a mentor and tutor in high school. She earned her B.A. from University of Richmond and M.A. from Columbia University Teachers College. Annie began her post-graduate career in New York City teaching kindergarten.
She honed in on a passion for early literacy and social and emotional play-based learning. She moved into coaching teachers, administrative staff, and principals across a network of over forty public charter schools. During the pandemic Annie moved into remote consulting for schools across the country, creating reading and writing curriculums and extensive book lists based on Common Core Standards. She also worked as an Adjunct Supervisor at Portland State University College of Education.
Annie is devoted to developing curious minds, social confidence, and emotional intelligence in early learning. She strives to create a safe space where children feel nurtured, loved, and encouraged. She loves involving children in her hobbies including baking, reading, gardening, and animals.
